Pitch

The Boston flag was originally an SOB. I wanted to change that and created an updated flag as pictured above. The background color is representative of a primarily brick architecture seen throughout the city. Each of the three pillars represents a different aspect of the culture there. One for the collegiate and academic presence with colleges like MIT, Harvard, Boston College, and more. Another pillar for the museums and landmarks such as the Old North State House, Symphony Hall, or the Museum of Fine Arts. The last pillar is for the sports culture which includes the Red Sox (baseball), the Patriots (Football), the Celtics (basketball), and the Bruins (hockey). These are all of the symbols inside of my flag and I believe its simplistic design is worthy of becoming the actual Boston flag.
